if you would read more about that i did post if you happened to notic the way i had to install on my desk top i was making install in my drive f where my op system i was using was located, sa automaticly installs some files into c drive which i was not using at that time so the install was not complete. the video was not to show funtionality of the program but was mainly to show how to make the jd 2013 data work, i use 6 hard drives on my pc and 4 op systems so sometimes installing such programs on a pc of this nature is a bit tricky but this is the pc i do this work on. just need to make them work on this when i install in laptop after is when i test functions and if there is a known issue while im testing ill repair or advise of such issues, if you fallow my video and do a normal install on a pc in drive c everything should be fine, and yes edl will work

Hi you, that is the best way to protect your file. As you see when you upload on Rapidshare or Mediafire or 4shared or more. Just next time your files are removed and that time we are not sure about your files.

Uninstalling SA

I uninstalled SA Data with no problems at Add/Remove Programs but when I went to uninstall SA (the program), I get the following error message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: C:….Service ADVISOR.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I have had this same error msg trying to install SA on a different computer. I cancelled the uninstall and am awaiting your instruction. Thanks! Also, is there any way I can post without doing the anti spam puzzle? It takes me forever to do it due to the sensitivity of my mouse. Thanks again!

I have put up a very detailed tutorial about how to install sa and how to license the program.. it is very easy.. if you watch my video it is for making 2013 data work so just ignore the steps for making 2013 data work.
Now. if you are going to start from the beginning to re-install sa here is what you need to do.
first and foremost....(very very very important to do first!!!) open remove programs and delete Service advisor data first,
then uninstall service advisor, after that remove all jd relevant items in the remove program window, (ie) jdlm, connectivity abstraction layer, ECULP, ECULP4Bridge, JDActivex, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Seemage players,
then after all that restart your pc. then open c:/ and delete HPCR, JDIS Install Logs, JDLM, now open C:/ Program Files, in there delete ECULP, John Deere, and Service Advisor folders. then open C:/All Users/Application Data and delete service advisor folder.
( if running windows 7 that folder is C:/ProgramData)
now it is not totally necessary to to delete anything in your registry. but if you want to just delete anything related to anything from above. search the whole registry.
now just fallow my instruction and/or video. good luck!!!

I'm not sure but one thing you may want to try is before you try uninstall of sa open your task manager and kill any proccess that is relevant to JD then try and if that don't work then I try to reinstall and choice repair at prompt. Now if it remains to not work maybe we can work it out over team viewer if you would like
