i have sa 4.0 disks is that what you need? i will have the registry steps soon posted to make 2013 disks work in 4.0

Where can I find JDSA 4.0, I only have 4.1

in the lic folder that was supplied with kg&patch open that lic folder copy dl to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users.WINDOWS\Application Data\Service this is for xp
C:\ProgramData\Service ADVISOR\ this is for win 7
as it shows in the line i will make noticable here
John Deere Service Advisor Installation .
- Be sure that you have JAVA and Acrobat reader installed on your PC (wich if you have a internet connection it will automaticly ask and find and load its self)
- Mount the CD JDSA4.0 and start the installation ..
- a user name and password will be reqired .. so better to use
User: Admin
Password: 123456


- after the Installation, dont run the program !


- restart your PC ,
- after the installation, use the keygen


- how to use the keygen


- you need to find the Host ID for the installation ..
- Run c:\Program Files\ECULP\ECULPINIConfig.exe
- Get HostID from Security tab
- open the keygen and put the Host ID , choose the expire date, select all in both fields and generate.
- you will get 3 files
- run dl.xml.reg file and confirm registry changes
- copy license file jdlm.lic into C:\JDLM\ folder
- PS. DO NOT USE dl.xml.reg file or dl.xml files generated by keygen,( delete the two file made by kg)

- Go to patch folder and
- run Patch.bat

- Replace the Original ServiceADVISOR.exe with the Patched one in the Installation folder
C:\Program Files\Service ADVISOR .


- Mount the DVD1 (AG_EN_20xxxx_01) and start the installation from it
in otherwords what i do is copy and paste the data disk 1 in my documents folder. right click
and explore the folder, run the install from the SAUCE folder and then open the sa.ini folder
it will look something like this

Identity=AG_EN_201109_01
Produced=2011/07/15-22:48:58
[Trigger Dates]
Warning = 2011/10/28
Termination = 2011/11/01

- ***Replace the Original sa.ini with the patch we will create, in the DVD1 !!BEFORE YOU LOAD THE DATA!!!!! IN THE PROGRAM.
- To do this
- In the sa.ini folder change the dates to what ever you desire to mach the lic experation you made
so it will look something like this

Identity=AG_EN_201109_01
Produced=2011/07/15-22:48:58
[Trigger Dates]
Warning = 2020/06/01
Termination = 2020/07/01


- Exit the document and select save changes. ( I like to reopen the sa.ini after to insure changes.)
-then open service advisor. it will promp you to load data. change the path to load to the location
you saved data disk 1. let it load ..........and SUCCESS!!!!!
FALLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND IT SHOULD WORK PERFECT IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS

Thank you for Service Advisor 4.0 install instructions by bullseyemods.txt. I follow instructions fine until step 19. Step 20 where do i find the dl.xml.reg that I must run Step 21 where do I find the licence file jdlm.lic? Thank you for great help

Thanks alot bullseyemods, I have SA 2.8 so I know the basics about installation. Only thing that I need is make data DVD to never expire, that is done with sa.ini file and then crack SA 4.1 version since that version installs when I load AG_EN_201301 data DVD. So this instructions make 4.1 version work ? Because I think that SA on that data DVD is 4.1 version and we install 4.0 version with SA image.

@bullseyemods: sorry but your instructions are not good.

1.) you dont say what to do with those 3 files that we get in keygen ? Just copy .lic file and other 2 delete. But do we need to copy other files in JDLM folder from LIC folder in crack ? Or just run registry entry and that is it ?
2.) What should we do with PATCH folder ? Just run patch or we need to copy all those files somewhere and then run ?
3.) Why do we need to run Setup from SAUCE folder after we have replaced ServiceAdvisor.exe file ? Shouldnt we do that AFTER we run that from Sauce folder ? Why do we run that at all when we have made license and replaced .exe file ?

Please explan better so we can know how it should be done, I can make SA 2.8 version so I have basic knowledge but this version seems to be little different.

Ok, What we need to do with those 5 files inside PATCH folder ? Double click does nothing.

I have runned Setup from SAUCE folder and then I got license expired even tough I have good license acording to ECULP. I still have good license but I cannot start Advisor, I have replaced exe file after installation and now it does not run at all, I get Send or Dont send report and that is it.

Do I have bad version on DVD or something else ? When I leave original exe ADvisor starts for 1/2 sec and then quits. When replacing .exe file it crashes immediately.

there is a registry change we need to make and i am working on a instruction sheet to make 2013 data work. no
thing about getting s a 2012 or 2013 is easy but if everyone is patient i will have easy to follow instructions up soon
