If you are just having engine issues, it shouldn't matter whether it is used for mining or generation, but rather that it is an off-road application. Here is a file you may find useful providing you have fault codes. If not, I would recommend getting the appropriate adapter and cummins insite to scan the ecm. Hope this helps!
