These instructions do not apply to the diagnostics only version of Diamond Logic® Builder.
Diamond Logic® Builder is installed and kept up to date via software called Java Web Start that part of the Java Runtime Environment from Sun Microsystems. We recommend that you use version 1.6.0 (Version 6.0 update 10), since Diamond Logic® Builder is developed and tested using that version.
Before installing Diamond Logic® Builder you must have Java installed. If you don't have Java installed you can get a version from the Sun Microsystems Java Website.
Once you have a compatible version of Java installed, you can use the Launch DLB menu item to install (or update if already installed) and launch Diamond Logic® Builder. Java Web Start will help you create a desktop icon that will launch Diamond Logic® Builder and check for updates without returning to this page.
Recommended Requirements:

• Pentium 4 class process with a minumum 1 GHz of speed
• JRE 1.6.0_10 (see above for getting this).
• 512 MB of RAM
• 150MB of free hard disk space
• Operating System of Windows XP, 2000 or Vista
• One or more RP1210A compatible communication devices
• Any type of high speed Internet connection
