Parts affected: MultiCAN tiller card p/n 582015751 and 582073816
Reason: Accelerator recalibration

Below are the instructions for the recalibration procedure:
1. Download the "Diagnostic and programming tool for tiller card" file from Yale Axcess Online.
Open the Zip folder and extract the "PCB_Teaching" folder to the desktop
2. Connect to the truck via CAN connector and Ifak cable
3. Start the “Teach_111263_ifak_V.00.00.04.exe” file in the previously extracted folder
4. Switch on the truck
5. Select the “monitoring” tab and, with the tiller in the rest position, rotate the throttle until it
reaches the end of stroke in both directions. A correctly functioning throttle should reach
Analog signal values of +4095 and -4095. If these values are correct, but the truck still does
not operate at maximum speed, contact the Product Support Group for further advice.
If the above mentioned values are not reached (as in the images below), proceed with
recalibration procedure instructions below.
6. Select the “teach control” tab and click on the “Start 1” button. The square to the left of the
button will turn green.
Procedure can be stopped by clicking on the “Cancel 3” button. The square to the left of the
button will turn green.
7. With the throttle in the rest position, press the “Belly switch” button on the tiller head to acquire
the rest position. The box to the right of "Neutral o.k." will turn green
8. Rotate the throttle till the end of stroke is reached in the opposite direction to the operator and
press the forks lift button on the tiller head to confirm the position. The square to the right of
"Maximum right o.k." will turn green
9. Rotate the throttle till the end of stroke is reached in the operator direction and press the forks
lowering button on the tiller head to confirm the position. The square to the right of "Maximum
left o.k." will turn green
10. Click on the “Finish 2” button to end the calibration procedure. The square to the left of the
button will turn green
11. Select the "monitoring" tab again and, with the tiller in rest position, carry out the same test
illustrated in point 5, making sure that the analog "Throttle" signal reaches the values of -4095
and +4095 respectively (as in the images below)
12. Close the software, disconnect the Ifak cable from the truck and test the traction
If the issue persists even after performing the calibration procedure or if you are unable to complete it,
please contact the Product Support Group before replacing the tiller card.
