Installation instructions for CATERPILLAR SIS 2011


Run program from CD - STW2006A
Indicate path where program must be installed and choose CD/DVD Drives where your DVDs with data are.
After installation completes insert DVD SIS DATA and run Setup.exe
Run program Service Technician WorkBench


Warning!
Only after entering LicenseKey you can work with program!




To launch SIS create shortcut on your desctop - "Service Information System", and choose destination
path "C:\Program Files\Caterpillar\IncSISbinsis.exe"


To work with SIS you need to do the next:
1. Run SIS
2. Press button "Import SIS User"
3. Choose file SISUsers.xml and press "Load"
4. Check checkbox in "Select Users" window, press "Import" and wait 1-2 minutes.
After successful completing of user import procedure press "Load"
5. Enter -
Login ID - autocd1
Password - 12345
and press "Login"
6. Press on "View License Agreement", and choose any string in the window - "Use the System to conduct your business" and
press "YES"
7. In the next window for question "Do you want to start the SIS integration functionality?" choose answer "No"




If you do not want to change DVDs while working with catterpillar you should do the next:


1. Make 6 virtual drives and connect 6 DVDs with data.
2. Copy each disc to separate folder on your hard drive.


After this all, run SIS and in the right lower corner press on icon "SIS" (Yellow with black stripe in the middle)
Choose Configure and press on button ADD. Specify pathes to DVDs with data.
That is all.
