Installing VAS 5054A ODIS Service 4.1.3 on Windows 7


Download and run Windows6.1-KB2921916-X86 Microsoft update standalone package
Download and install updates...
Installation completes! Close
Download and run Windows6.1-KB3033929-X86 Microsoft update standalone package
Confirm to install security update for windows
Download and install updates...
Installation completes!
Restart your computer

Open OffboardDiagSetup-Service_VWMCD_4_1_3-B41_1_3_1_2 application
Odis service installation begins. Next
Next
....
Next
Search the license: ../odis 4.1.3 license/VW imported/license.dat, then Next
Next
Installing ODIS-Service....
Finish odis-s 4.1.3 installation

NO restart now

Open ..:/odis 4.1.3 license/VW imported
Copy offboarddiaglauncher application

Open Offboard Diagnostic Information System properties on Desktop
Open file location: paste it on C:/Program files/Offboard Diagnostic Information System Service
Copy and replace!
Then close the interface

Run ODIS on Desktop as administrator
Send the hardware id to the dealer for odis activation
Then get registration information name & key, then enter to register

Select directory: ../update
Enter user name & keyword (it’s postsetup configuration data)
Select a language to install

Continue
Automatically open odis
Cancel download releasenotes
OK to continue
Read Warning/notes, then OK
End ODIS

Automatically installing VAS5045A device driver software

Again, Run ODIS on Desktop
Cancel download releasenotes
OK to continue
Read Warning/notes, then OK
Starting diagnosis via vas 5054a odis 4.1.3

this is probably quite old, but are there any odis cleanup tools or smth too? i have an issue where i can't install nor even uninstall that weird KB3033929-x64.msu update, so i can't install any new version either :s

the update check is probably carried out by the 'PATCH_FIRST_UPDATE.bat' file, so could there be a way to edit that on the fly or pause or smth...
