I finally successfully installed SA 4.0 and got it working! We are using Win 7 Pro. I installed SA 4.0, licensed it. Put in AG 2012 DVD, and it updated with Sauce. Then the licensed failed. I used the SA 4.1 keygen I have and relicensed it. Put AG back in, then it said incompatible. The sa.ini file was changed to 2020 so I changed both dates back to 2012…what they were originally and saved it. I loaded it again into SA and it loaded the data! What a feeling of accomplishment. Thanks Bullseymods. All your advice paid off. Hope changing the sa.ini back didn't "break" something else. So far the program seems to be working just fine.

When I load SA 4.0, then insert the 2012 AG CD and let it update, the AG CD tries to open SA and then the license fails. If I license before updating sauce, the license is ok, but then the data won't load...says it's incompatible. I watched a video of someone else who loaded SA 4.0, then put in the AG CD, and the AG CD didn't try to open SA when it was done loading. It just shut down and then the guy did the the licensing. I am certain the computer I got SA working on, did not try and load SA after updating SAUCE with the 2012 AG CD? I don't understand what I'd doing wrong. There are a few different instructions on how to load SA and I've tried them all several times over. Wonder if I have to do a clean install?

Ok. lets get this working for you. are you trying 2012 data or 2013? no need to copy anything to your desktop.....
the only thing that is important about this first disk is that the sa.ini is adjusted the date dont need to be set to the same as the kg i set it usually to 2050 or 2100 l the. if you are going to be running all the data disks of a saved location on the local or external hdd the file just needs to be modified and stored there.if you are planning on using disks make the mod to the sa.ini file before you burn your disk. if none of this can be done or applied just copy and save disk 1 anywhere in your pc and mod the sa.ini file, you dont need to run it first if you dont have the correct patch file........lets start from scratch, just install sa and use kg and lic the software (dont run sause update) jd sa should open and ask you to load data. do so by mapping the drive to the modified disk and let it do its thing. try that lets see what happens. I would hate to sell you this software. i have made it work this way hundreds of times. if you really cant get it i could log onto your pc with teamviewer and assist you... no charge. it should be very easy install

I hd john deere serviceadvio working and then I could only connect to machine controllers and not engine controller ... so i uninstalled sa an reinstalled but now I don't have Readings . test & calibrations and diagnostic functions working ... I did a data wipe and loaded data and it still dont work
any ideas?
